Americans are rightfully outraged at what appears to be preferential treatment for Hunter Biden when it comes to criminal charges.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan recently spoke out on the matter, stating that the Department of Justice ran this case in a “ridiculous way” and that it was yet another example of how our justice system has become politicized and two-tiered.

During an interview, Jordan shared reports that Hunter Biden agreed to plead guilty to a pair of misdemeanor tax avoidance charges and that he may not serve any prison time for a felony gun charge.

Jordan was outraged at the “sweetheart” plea deal, saying it was yet another example of how the country’s justice system has become politicized and two-tiered.

“I think the big takeaway from last week is nothing has changed at the Justice Department. I mean, John Durham told us how bad it was, that it was all a lie, Crossfire Hurricane. He told us they got incredible intelligence that said this whole thing, the Trump-Russia narrative, was from the Clinton campaign. So, the intelligence is credible enough that he briefed the president, the vice president, attorney general, the director of the FBI puts it in a memo,” Jordan said.

The first son was charged with failing to pay any taxes on around $1.5 million in income for two straight years as well as lying on a federal gun background check form about his past drug use and addiction in order to purchase a handgun.

The Ohio Republican was particularly frustrated by John Durham’s report which revealed the investigation into Crossfire Hurricane – Trump-Russia narrative – originated from the Clinton campaign despite credible intelligence being gathered on it enough so that it was briefed to President Trump, Vice President Pence, Attorney General Barr, and Director Comey who failed to share this memo with agents handling the case.

A whistleblower came forward claiming they were denied information they should have had. This only serves as further proof of how wrong our current justice system is operating when it comes to providing special treatment or preferential treatment for certain individuals like Hunter Biden who now seems unlikely he will face prison time for his charges due to such a sweetheart plea deal offered by prosecutors.

Jordan also recently sent a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland requesting information on the status of a special counsel investigation into President Joe Biden’s potential mishandling of classified documents including an unredacted copy of Robert Hur’s memorandum outlining the scope of his probes regarding President Biden along with any other document describing its authority and jurisdiction.

It is worth noting here that Hur was appointed after classified documents were discovered at both the Biden Penn Center as well as one of Biden’s residences in Delaware during his tenure as vice president.

In response, Abbe David Lowell – Hunter Biden’s attorney – sent cease & desist letters targeting Donald Trump (as well as members of his legal team) over statements Trump made about Weiss which Lowell described as “defamatory and likely incite violence against Mr. Bidens family” via social media platform Truth Social where former POTUS called Weiss “a coward” who failed to deliver death sentence instead opting for traffic ticket analogy in regards to Hunter Bident ax & firearm charges which eventually lead him earning plea deal keeping him out of prison.

“Hunter Biden’s attorney demands Donald Trump cease & desist from statements ‘both defamatory and likely to incite’ violence against the U.S. president’s son,” Runyeon noted on Twitter in a post containing a screenshot of the demand letter.

Lowell, with the Winston & Strawn law firm, addressed members of Trump’s legal team in the demand letter as well.

“As you know, Winston & Strawn represents, and I am writing on behalf of our client, Hunter Biden,” the letter began.

“I am sending this letter to make a demand that your client, former President Donald Trump, cease and desist from making public statements about my client which are both defamatory and likely to incite Mr. Trump’s followers to take actions against Mr. Biden and which could lead to his or his family’s injury,” Lowell wrote.

It is clear from all these facts put together that something needs to change within the American justice system right away if we want equal rights among citizens regardless of their political views or connections so nobody gets special treatment because we are all meant o be treated equally under law no matter how powerful or influential someone might be .

Congress must take appropriate action through the appropriation process not allowing FISA reauthorization in its current form while ensuring all investigations continue until the truth is uncovered since a country cannot function properly without trust in the justice system.
