The Democrats and their sycophants in the Fake News media wanted you to believe that all 5,000 people who attended the Capitol protest on January 6 were vicious and violent insurrectionists, even though that’s the furthest thing from the truth. They really want you to believe that 74 million Trump supporters are culpable for the riot that broke out that day.

Well, now it turns out that many of the people who entered the Capitol building during the protest of the stealing of the 2020 election are “unlikely” to get any jail time, according to a Politico report that came out on Tuesday, stressing that the news is a “jarring reality check” for people who were “outraged by the storming of Capitol Hill.” Incidentally, most of them felt absolutely no outrage at all for the riots that took place in Democrat-run cities across the country every day all summer long destroying businesses and people’s lives.

When asked, a defense attorney who wished to remain anonymous said “What about somebody who has no criminal record who got jazzed up by the president, walked in, spends 15 minutes in Statuary Hall and leaves? What happens to that person? They’re not going to get a jail sentence for that.”

“There is a natural cycle to an event like this,” the defense attorney said. “People will say it was the end of the world, then things will calm down, and they’ll begin looking at cases back on what people actually did.”

The sub-headline of the Politico report said that this revelation “could embarrass the Biden administration, which has portrayed the Jan. 6 siege as a dire threat to democracy.” I consider Joe Biden is a dire threat to democracy.

The report said there have been high-profile conspiracy cases involving members of “right-wing, paramilitary groups” but the most urgent decisions for prosecutors involve resolving “scores of lower-level cases” clogging the D.C. federal district court.

Translation: there are no high-profile cases involving “right-wing, paramilitary groups,” and so the DC swamp creatures who run things are hoping that the American people will forget all about it by the time they get through all the low-profile normal American voter cases of people who were sick and tired of being lied to and attacked for four straight years, so that they don’t get hit up for lying about that fateful day all along.

According to the report, at this point so far, close to a quarter of the over 230 defendants publicly charged face only misdemeanors, and those in the know, the prosecutors, defense attorneys and the judges in have been saying that they only expect a few people will face harsh sentences.

Politico said the behavior of many of the people who entered the building boiled down to “trespassing”:

…Although prosecutors have loaded up their charging documents with language about the existential threat of the insurrection to the republic, the actions of many of the individual rioters often boiled down to trespassing. And judges have wrestled with how aggressively to lump those cases in with those of the more sinister suspects.

“My bet is a lot of these cases will get resolved and probably without prison time or jail time,” said Erica Hashimoto, a former federal public defender who is now a law professor at Georgetown. “One of the core values of this country is that we can protest if we disagree with our government. Of course, some protests involve criminal acts, but as long as the people who are trying to express their view do not engage in violence, misdemeanors may be more appropriate than felonies.”

You have to wonder if the Biden ministration is going to interfere in this investigation because it’s not going to look good for them as it “could be hard to explain for the Biden administration, which has characterized the Capitol Hill mob as a uniquely dangerous threat,” the report said.

Many Democrat lawmakers and pundits described January 6 as “sedition” or “treason” and that’s because they don’t know the definitions for sedition and treason.

I personally think the Democrats were thrilled that people stormed the Capitol building because that was the reason they used to keep 26,000 National Guard troops around the Capitol. I think they suspected that Americans would rebel against once they started doing all the treasonous stuff they’re doing now via executive orders and passing bills with a very slim majority but strong enough to indicate some sort of mandate to get done, and that felt they would need those soldiers to protect them.

Part of the problem that the Biden administration is now going to face is that Biden’s Justice Department created a very high sense of expectation in early statements and in court filings where they described elaborate plots to murder lawmakers and other such nonsense but then when the details of what happened actually started to come out it became clear that the Biden administration full of bullschtein.
