Vice President Kamala Harris took charge of a tense situation at a rally when a member of the audience experienced a medical emergency during her speech, directing both the audience and medical personnel.

Meanwhile, on the second day of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, speeches were delivered by former President Barack Obama, former First Lady Michelle Obama, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, and other notable figures.

At the same time, Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Democratic Gov. Tim Walz, held a rally at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

As she addressed the crowd, Harris was alerted to a “medical emergency” by members of the audience as her speech was coming to an end.

Harris dramatically directed the medical personnel to the person in the crowd and then used the event to push her political message.

Many suspected the entire thing was just a hoax to tee her up for her up for the following phony message:

And that is how we fulfilled the promise of America. The promise of America. And it is that promise of America–. We need a medical assistant here. Okay. We need a nurse or we need a medic here, please. Let’s just make a– let’s make a path. Let’s make a path. If y’all don’t mind, just let’s make a path to right here. Let’s just create a path. Right here.

Let’s create a path, guys, and thanks for looking out each other. Look out for each other. But let’s let’s create a path for the medics. Okay. Okay. Okay. We’re going to be okay. We’re going to be okay.

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

All right. This is who we are, right? This is what we’re about. Looking out for each other. The thing–. We care about each other.

(CHEERS).

You know, it’s about truly understanding what love thy neighbor means. It’s about, in the face of a perfect stranger, seeing a neighbor, understanding what that love of each other means. It’s a big difference between what we’re talking about and what’s on the other side.

Harris received discouraging news from three separate polls indicating a loss of support. Both Cygnal and Emerson College polls in Pennsylvania showed her trailing former President Donald Trump by one point, a crucial swing state with 19 Electoral College votes.

Additionally, a poll by the Napolitan News Service revealed Trump leading nationally by one point.

Following Joe Biden’s endorsement on July 21, Harris initially gained momentum as the Democratic Party’s frontrunner for the presidency.
