Jean-Pierre Backpedals Over Whether Joe Biden Still Stands Behind Claims He Was Not Involved In Son Hunter’s Businesses

On Monday, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked if Joe Biden still stands by his comment that he had never been involved in Hunter Biden’s overseas business deals.

Joe Biden has previously declared that he “never discussed with [his] son or [his] brother or anyone else anything having to do with their businesses. Period.”

However, Republican lawmakers have indicated they possess evidence that Joe Biden did indeed communicate with Hunter’s foreign business associates.

The former associate of Hunter Biden and convicted felon Devon Archer is said to be cooperating with the Republicans and will testify this week about a $10 million Ukraine-Biden bribe.

The reporter posed the question to Jean-Pierre as to whether the President still supports his statement that he was never associated with Hunter’s business dealings. In response, she stated the President had “never been in business” with his son.

This answer appears to diverge from Joe Biden’s initial declaration regarding discussing such matters at all, leaving some confusion surrounding what exactly might have happened between father and son.

As mentioned earlier, Devon Archer is reportedly going to provide testimony this week on the bribery situation involving Ukraine.

According to New York Post reporter Miranda Devine, Devon Archer is going to sing like a canary and tell Oversight Committee Republicans that Hunter Biden put his dad, then-VP Joe Biden on speakerphone into meetings with his foreign business associates at least two dozen times.

“Curious if the White House and the president still stand behind his comment that he’s never been involved and has never even spoken to his son about his business?” a reporter asked Karine Jean-Pierre.

“The president was never in business with his son,” Karine Jean-Pierre said.

So now the White House is saying Biden was never in business with Hunter.

Joe Biden previously said he never spoke to his son about his business.

There are still many unanswered questions surrounding potential connections between Joe and Hunter Biden regarding overseas business dealings; further clarity on this matter must await the testimony of Devon Archer later in the week before any definitive conclusions can be drawn one way or another.
