Texas Gov. Greg Abbott is fed up with taking the heat for what is essentially Biden’s mess. Biden destabilized border security and then ignored the border states when they called for help after being overwhelmed by the incoming illegals answering Biden’s free-for-all call. Abbott blasted the current administration in response to Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot calling him un-Christian-like after he bussed migrants to her city.
Gov Abbott explained to Fox News’s Jesse Watters, “it was the most astonishing thing I have ever seen. She is the epitome of being a hypocrite. Being a hypocrite for doing exactly what she was criticizing me for but also not even acknowledging what President Biden has done.”
He continued, “President Biden has been flying migrants these migrants, around the country, something in darkness of night, and she’s never said a word about what he’s done. And you pointed out Kamala Harris, who hasn’t done anything to secure the border. The fact of the matter is this is an American problem, and Americans across the country are going to have to come to grips with the reality we have a broken border.”
Abbott couldn’t help but to remember how border security was handled under Trump, “a border that before President Biden took office, we had the lowest number of illegal border crossings in decades. President Trump had solved this. And Biden decimated everything that President Trump had done to fix the border. This is Biden’s fault, pure and simple.”

What do the numbers look like? Well, the January 2022 projections exceed the monthly levels from fiscal 2021, when a record 47,000 migrant children entered the US without relatives.
More than 1.2 million single-adult migrants have been picked up by US immigration officials in the 2022 fiscal year. Another 101,024 unaccompanied minors were also encountered by US officials, data shows. In just two years’ time the US has seen more than 2 million border crossings and it is all thanks to this administration.
