There’s a major reveal coming up about the tangled web of the Russiagate saga. It turns out the Obama administration knew as far back as the summer of 2016 that Hillary Clinton had greenlit a plan to concoct a fake Russia scandal to damage Donald Trump. The FBI was allegedly on board with this plan, according to officials speaking to Just the News.
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley is gearing up to release some eye-opening declassified information. This new evidence is said to be part of an appendix to Russia Special Counsel John Durham’s final report from earlier this year. Grassley has been on a mission for years to bring this intelligence out into the open.
A source familiar with the situation mentioned that FBI officials were aware of Clinton’s strategy to create a false narrative. The plan was to make it look like Donald Trump was in cahoots with Russia, all to divert attention from her own email scandal. Foreign enemies even believed the FBI would play along with the plan, the source noted.
CIA Director John Ratcliffe echoed these sentiments, saying that foreign governments were aware of Clinton’s antics. Ratcliffe helped declassify documents showing how the FBI was expected to legitimize Clinton’s fake Russia narrative. The plan involved using a Clinton-funded dossier penned by former British spy Christopher Steele.
Ratcliffe explained on Fox News that the FBI acted as an accelerant to the fake Steele Dossier, which falsely linked Trump to Russia. The FBI amplified the lie instead of seeking the truth about what Clinton was up to. This narrative was pushed forward despite the lack of credible evidence.
Former CIA Director John Brennan had briefed President Obama about this intelligence back in the summer of 2016. Brennan’s notes revealed that Clinton had allegedly approved a proposal to vilify Trump by creating a scandal involving Russian interference. This was all part of an effort to distract from her own email server issues.
The 2023 Durham report highlighted that the Intelligence Community received intelligence about the Clinton Plan in late July 2016. Brennan quickly informed top Obama administration officials, including Obama, Comey, and Biden. Instead of investigating the scheme, they pressed on with the baseless Trump-Russia collusion story.
The appendix set to be declassified is expected to show that the FBI was ready to run with Clinton’s dirty tricks. Internal Clinton campaign communications are anticipated to reveal the extent of the plan to carry out this hoax. Durham’s report also noted the timing of the Clinton Plan, which coincided with the 2016 Democratic convention.
Jennifer Palmieri, Clinton’s campaign communications director, later wrote about the effort to tie Trump to Russia. However, she never mentioned Clinton’s role in creating the false Steele Dossier and Alfa Bank claims. The campaign hired Marc Elias, who engaged Fusion GPS and Steele to dig up dirt on Trump.
Robby Mook, Clinton’s campaign manager, admitted to authorizing Elias to hire a firm to investigate Trump’s Russian connections. Elias periodically updated the campaign on the findings from Fusion and Steele. Clinton herself approved the plan to push the false Alfa Bank claims to the media.
Durham’s investigation revealed that Clinton personally approved the strategy to link Trump with Russia. She even promoted these baseless allegations in tweets, with the legacy media amplifying the message. Despite the denials from top Clinton campaign officials, Durham’s report is filled with evidence to the contrary.
The report also highlighted that Obama, Biden, and Comey were aware of the Clinton Plan intelligence early on. A CIA official recognized its significance and quickly informed leadership. Brennan personally received a copy of the intelligence and briefed senior officials.
When interviewed, Brennan recalled reviewing the materials but didn’t focus on its claims about the Clinton campaign. He said he focused more on Russia’s role in hacking the Democratic National Committee. Nevertheless, the intelligence about Clinton’s plan was shared with the highest levels of government.
