You read that right; a Yale professor, Christy Olezeski, proudly admitted that she is part of a university program that helps children as young as 3 years old with their “gender journey.”
Let me tell you. The ‘break through’ video didn’t go the way Yale had hoped. The professor was shredded on social media by people opposed to the idea that anyone would risk a child’s health and well-being on trending topics, like gender identity.
The video was posted on Yale Medicine’s YouTube channel but has since been removed for that very reason.
“I am the director of the Yale gender program, which is an interdisciplinary program working with gender-expansive individuals 3 to 25 and their families,” Yale professor Christy Olezeski says in a video circulating on social media.
“We help individuals who are questioning their gender identity or who identify as transgender or non-binary, and we help them with their gender journey.”
Olezeski added that the program provides guidance on “medical intervention” and when to begin that process.
“I love what I do,” Olezeski said. “So, it’s really, really wonderful to be working in this field and to be working with individuals who are gender diverse and gaining their support and helping them on their gender journeys.”

Now let’s look at just a handful of responses the video has received from members of the Conservative media.
“3 YEAR OLDS should not be led to change genders!” director and producer Robby Starbuck tweeted along with the video of Olezeski. “Leave them alone.”
“Society has lost its marbles,” Arizona Republican Party Chair Dr. Kelli Ward tweeted.
“Kid’s memories are just starting to work at 3,” the comedic duo Hodge Twins tweeted. “Kids think they’re dinosaurs or a dog. There is no ‘gender journey’ at 3, this is child abuse.”
I found several users demanding that the professor be arrested for ‘child abuse’ and ‘medical malpractice’. I could find countless comments along those lines each time the video was shared on Twitter.
The program website states that transgender surgeries are only available for individuals older than 18 years.
The catch is the program does not say how young a person can be and still receive hormone therapy treatment.
