The NFL, in its quest to completely destroy the sport with wokeness, has decided that the 2022 season that starts in September will welcome its first transgender cheerleader.
In a March 30 Instagram post, Justine Lindsay, a black trans woman, announced that she/he is “the newest member of the Carolina Panthers TopCats Cheerleader’s.”

On Monday, Lindsay posted a message that she/he has been the victim of transphobic harassment since her/his broken glass ceiling announcement.
“Thank you to all my haters who think I’m bringing the organization down, clearly I don’t. The carolina panthers Organization is an excellent one, one that supports all people,” she/he wrote.
She/He added that she/he hopes to pave the way “for those under me who are scared and afraid to take that step because it is not easy to do when you have ignorant people making comments.”
Lindsay’s hiring as a cheerleader comes at a time when transgender athletes are facing restrictions on school sports, because they are biological men. If you put lipstick on a pig, it’s still a pig.
“This is big,” she/he said. “I think more people need to see this. It’s not because I want recognition. It’s just to shed light on what’s going on in the world.”
The Trevor Project, an LGBTQ+ the little caret symbol and the Tilda thingy that sometimes goes over some Spanish letters youth crisis intervention and suicide prevention organization, said Lindsay’s hiring in the NFL is significant given that a report in April discovered that less than 1 in 3 adults know a transgender person.
“Lindsay’s story can inspire so much more than victory,” Preston Mitchum, director of advocacy and government affairs at The Trevor Project, wrote in an email to NBC News. “She can also set the stage for greater acceptance within our society and give young people watching a possibility model for what their future can look like.”
These people are suffering from a mental illness called Gender Dysphoria. We, as a society, treat people with mental disorders. We don’t enable them. What is so special about transgenderism that we enable the mental illness rather than focus on treatment?
I will say this. If the team wants to hire a transgender person to its cheerleading squad, it’s their right to do it. There were male cheerleaders through history and I have no problem with it. I just have a problem with the politics surrounding the whole transgender movement. The LGBTQ+ movement constantly claims to be victims but I don’t see it. They get support from every part of society, including the government. You are seen as a pariah if you disagree with any facet of the movement. How many calendar days are dedicated to LGBTQ+?

Mitchum added that he thinks it’s great that Lindsay is exposing herself/himself to the world through the NFL.
“It is heartening to see someone like Justine Lindsay be her authentic self in a place like the NFL, which occupies such a powerful position in our culture,” Mitchum said.
The woke have been trying to change our culture forever. The NFL has had a big woke target on its back for a while now, and it has caved to most of the attacks. Each time it does, the NFL loses a little more of what made the game special.
