The newly declassified documents released by CIA Director John Ratcliffe have shed light on the intelligence community’s awareness back in 2016 of a supposed plan by the Clinton campaign to tarnish Trump’s reputation by falsely associating him with Russia. This plan, according to the documents, was to be carried forward by the deep state. The House Intelligence Committee report, unveiled by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, suggested that the January 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment was essentially a fictional narrative crafted by the Obama administration to lend credibility to the Clinton campaign’s story and lay the groundwork for persistent attacks and two impeachments against Trump.

These revelations make it clear that both the intelligence community and the liberal media played pivotal roles in what appears to be a hoax. However, new FBI memos have also pointed fingers at Congress for playing a part. Allegations have emerged that Adam Schiff, then a representative from California, approved leaking classified information to undermine President Trump and further the Russia hoax narrative.

A whistleblower, a Democratic career intelligence officer who had been with the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence for over a decade, voiced concerns about Schiff’s actions as early as 2017. In a meeting held in February of that year, the whistleblower reported that Schiff said the group would leak classified information damaging to Trump, with the intention of using it to indict him. This information was corroborated by FBI interview reports obtained by Just the News.

The whistleblower claimed that Schiff’s alleged leaking operation was fueled by his anger over Trump’s victory, as Schiff believed he would have been appointed Director of CIA had Hillary Clinton won the election. Schiff was reportedly eager to turn the “Russian involvement” narrative into something as significant as the 9/11 Commission, with the leaks intended to sway public opinion.

Schiff had long been suspected of leaking classified information, including false claims from the Steele dossier. In 2023, former CIA Director Mike Pompeo publicly accused Schiff of regular leaks, noting that when information was shared with him and his staff, it often ended up where it shouldn’t have. The whistleblower, finding Schiff’s actions unethical and treasonous, approached the FBI to express his concerns.

Despite the FBI showing initial interest in the whistleblower’s concerns, they ultimately informed him that the DOJ would not pursue an investigation, citing congressional immunity to actions and speech on the House floor. Under new leadership, there might be renewed interest from the Justice Department, although the alleged leaks might be beyond the statute of limitations for prosecution.

Kash Patel, speaking about the FBI interview memos on social media platform X, emphasized the importance of Congress seeing how classified information was leaked to shape political narratives. Patel’s statement suggested a need to examine whether institutions were used against the American people.

Patel pointed out that for years, certain officials used their positions to selectively leak classified information with the aim of shaping political narratives. He stressed that this was done to weaponize intelligence and law enforcement for political gain.

The FBI, with its partners at the DOJ, is now expected to lead efforts to uncover how political power may have been weaponized. Patel called for Congress to restore accountability in light of these revelations.

The situation underscores the importance of maintaining integrity within our institutions and ensuring that they are not manipulated for political purposes. As these issues unfold, the American people will be watching closely to see how justice is served.

The uncovering of these documents has reignited discussions about the role of government officials in political narratives and the need for transparency. With the Justice Department possibly revisiting these matters, there could be significant developments on the horizon.

This situation serves as a reminder of the importance of accountability and transparency in government. The American public deserves to know the truth behind these allegations and to see that justice is upheld.

As the details continue to emerge, it remains crucial for Congress and the Justice Department to work towards uncovering the full extent of these alleged actions. The integrity of our democratic processes depends on it.

The revelations have also sparked debates about the responsibilities of elected officials and the potential consequences of their actions. Ensuring that power is not abused for political gain remains a fundamental principle of democracy.

The ongoing investigation and potential actions by Congress and the DOJ will be closely watched by the public. The outcome may have significant implications for how intelligence and law enforcement are utilized in the future.

As the story unfolds, the focus will remain on maintaining the integrity of our institutions and ensuring that they serve the interests of the American people. Transparency and accountability are key to restoring trust in these systems.

The release of these documents is just one step in a larger effort to uncover the truth and ensure that our democratic processes are protected from manipulation. The journey towards accountability continues, with the public watching closely.
