There she is, at it again. Laughing at other people’s tragedies—The Only thing Kamala Harris is good at, apparently. During a joint press conference with Polish President Andrzej Duda in Warsaw, Harris’s response to a question about the Ukrainian refugee crisis has become the subject of criticism. Why?
Because, Kamala…
Both Harris and Duda were posed similar questions about the U.S. accepting Ukrainian refugees to help share the burden with Poland, after which Harris and Duda looked at each other waiting for the other to indicate who would respond first.
“Okay,” Harris said. “A friend in need is a friend indeed,” she added before cackling over her own joke.
When she finally got serious, she was noncommittal about whether the U.S. would accept Ukrainian refugees fleeing the war.
But her laugh was the most memorable part of her performance.
“When asked about Ukrainians suffering under Russian attacks, Kamala LAUGHS,” tweeted Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Texas) “Why does she always do this? She’s incapable of answering ANY tough questions. Kamala is a total EMBARRASSMENT!”
“Nothing about any of this is funny,” tweeted Fox News meteorologist Janice Dean.

According to NYP, Harris was slammed Thursday for breaking into inappropriate laughter after she was asked whether the US will take in Ukrainian refugees — leading Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky’s former press secretary to say it would be a “tragedy” if she ever became president.
‘It would be a tragedy if this woman won the presidency,’ Iuliia Mendel, the former Zelensky spokesperson, said in a quote tweet responding to a video of the interaction. She later deleted the post after backlash.
“Only Kamala Harris would find it appropriate to laugh when talking about the topic of Ukrainian Refugees,” tweeted Benny Johnson of conservative group Turning Point USA.
“Kamala Harris has been very consistent during her live remarks with Poland’s leader,” said former Donald Trump campaign aide George Papadopoulos. “She is awkwardly laughing. Again. Discussing refugees is no laughing matter. Why she laughs at this is deranged.”
