It seems like CNN anchors aren’t familiar with the reporting on their own website. On Wednesday, a panel accused Fox News host and Daily Caller co-founder Tucker Carlson of refusing to refute the conspiracy theories put forth by former Trump lawyer Sidney Powell. But what they failed to mention was Carlson’s demand for evidence that Powell’s claims were true.
The panel, which included anchor John King, Washington Post White House reporter Cleve Wootson, and senior media reporter Oliver Darcy, accused Carlson of “lying” to his viewers after text messages that came to light in early March 2021 showed him reportedly calling Powell a liar and a “fucking bitch.”
But what the panel failed to mention was that Carlson had cast doubt on Powell’s claims on his show, “Tucker Carlson Tonight.” On November 19, 2020, Carlson said that he and his team had asked Powell to provide evidence of her claims, but she had refused.
“We simply wanted to see the details,” Carlson said. “How could you not want to see them? So we invited Sidney Powell on this show … But she never sent us any evidence, despite a lot of requests, polite requests. Not a page. When we kept pressing, she got angry and told us to stop contacting her. When we checked with others around the Trump campaign, people in positions of authority, they told us Powell has never given them any evidence either.”
On November 21, 2020, Darcy wrote an article for CNN’s website that highlighted Carlson’s refutation of Powell’s claims and his demand for evidence. Yet the panel failed to mention this.
Tucker Carlson calls out Sidney Powell, saying he asked her for evidence to support her election fraud claims, but "she never sent us any evidence despite a lot of requests, polite requests, not a page."

It seems like CNN anchors are ignoring their own website’s reporting and trying to paint Carlson as a liar. Moreover, the panel seems to be downplaying the fact that Carlson has continually demanded evidence for Powell’s claims. I don’t I know a single person who wouldn’t love to see the receipts that would bury anyone connected to election fraud.
Most Americans, aside from Democrats apparently, want a fair and free election system. Questioning the validity of an election isn’t a crime. Hell, if it ever did become a crime, Hillary Clinton would be the first to go to jail—She’s still screaming fowl and crying about her big loss in 2016 to anyone who will listen.
