Vladimir Putin is completely convinced that what he’s doing in Ukraine is nothing short of a neo-Nazi purge.
I don’t believe it’s just a claim he made at the outset of this, but I do believe he is completely convinced of it.
While some have suspected for years that this battle would drag on, I have remained suspicious, and it appears that not only was I correct, but that he is also showing to the world that what he says about the Ukrainian government being full of neo-Nazis is correct.
Russia has already set a date for the war in Ukraine to conclude. This year’s date is the 9th of May. As it turns out, there just so happens to be something significant about that day.
May 9th is a day that is celebrated in Russia as Victory Day. That is the day that marks the surrender of the Third Reich to the Soviet forces in 1945. In other words, the Russians defeated the Nazis once on May 9th and they will defeat them once again on May 9th.
The Daily Mail reported,
In a Facebook post, the general staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said: ‘According to the available information, among the personnel of the armed forces of the Russian Federation, propaganda work is constantly being carried out, which imposes the idea that the war must be completed before the 9th of May 2022.’
In my opinion, Ukraine is fighting a losing battle here. They were not nearly prepared enough for this war and without the assistance of allied nations such as NATO, they are essentially facing this battle alone with the exception of some financial aid from different countries like the United States.
Also, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated that he is willing to make several concessions in order to end this war. Right or wrong, I think Putin has him right where he needs him to be to win the war.
