A Korean skincare product is drawing attention after an Amazon executive publicly endorsed it and reviewers nicknamed it “Botox in a bottle.” The Sungboon Editor Intensive Deep Collagen Silk Peptide EGF Ampoule is currently priced under $25 on Amazon, even after the retailer’s Prime Big Deal Days event has ended.

Carmen Nestares, vice president of North America Prime and marketing tech at Amazon, told the New York Post she uses the product regularly.

“Right now I’m obsessed with Songboon Editor’s Deep Collagen Silk Peptide Masks and their Peptide EGF Ampoule — and I buy Genabelle’s PDRN Rejuvenating Eye Mask on repeat; I swear by it!”

The formula contains collagen, peptides and epidermal growth factor (EGF), along with Argireline (Acetyl Hexapeptide-8), 120Da ultra-low molecular collagen, Volufiline, 24K gold and niacinamide. According to product claims, gold-infused silk peptide threads dissolve into the skin, producing an immediate tightening and plumping effect on expression lines — the basis for the “Botox in a bottle” nickname among reviewers.

It does not replicate the results of injectable Botox. The product cannot paralyze facial muscles, and any tightening or plumping effect is temporary.

How It’s Used

Users insert a syringe into a rubber stopper, draw out the serum, dispense it onto targeted areas of the skin, and pat until the golden threads fully dissolve. Recommended use is twice daily — morning and night — applied after cleansing and toning but before heavier moisturizer.

The product contains botanical extracts and peptides, so a patch test is advised for sensitive skin. Users are cautioned against mixing it with strong exfoliating acids such as AHAs or BHAs, which can cause irritation.

Purchase Details

There is no manufacturer warranty on the product. Purchases made through Amazon are eligible for the platform’s standard 30-day return policy. Return policies at other retailers selling K-beauty products will vary.

Prime Big Deal Days has concluded, but the ampoule’s current sub-$25 price remains available on Amazon.
