Scientists just discovered details of the universe that could be a strong argument against atheism.

The team is the Baryon Antibaryon Symmetry Experiment at the European Organization for Nuclear Research, or CERN.  They are based in Switzerland.

According to their conclusions, it’s scientifically impossible for the universe to exist.

In layman’s terms, the universe consists of both particles and antiparticles.  When these come into contact with one another, they destroy each other.

Thus, the scientists set out to look for some sort of imbalance in the universe.  This is the only logical conclusion since, well, we’re here.

They couldn’t find a thing.

Scientist Christian Smorra said in a statement:

All of our observations find a complete symmetry between matter and antimatter, which is why the universe should not actually exist.  An asymmetry must exist here somewhere but we simply do not understand where the difference is. What is the source of the symmetry break?

Basically, the universe just stumped even the supposed experts.

This echoes recent discoveries for intelligent design.  A world-famous physicist, Michio Kaku, says the universe could have been ugly and chaotic.  Instead, it is elegant and simple.

The physicist spoke to Science World Report about his discovery:

I have concluded that we are in a world made by rules created by an intelligence…Believe me, everything that we call chance today won’t make sense anymore. To me it is clear that we exist in a plan which is governed by rules that were created, shaped by a universal intelligence and not by chance.

According to Kaku, God is most likely a highly advanced mathematician.  This lines up with what another famous scientist, Albert Einstein, concluded.

To this day, Einstein’s theories are concluded as true laws in the universe.  Things aren’t looking too good for the atheists.
