Elon Musk has not taken over Twitter quite yet, but the changes have started already. T2witter has locked down to prevent the Twitter Karens from sabotaging the site. And they have reinstated Tucker Carlson and the Babylon Bee, even before Musk. The employees at Twitter are singing the blues because they can no longer ban opinions and facts that deviate from their narrative. Indeed, Tucker Carlson and the Babylon bee are already back.

Elon Musk will have complete control over the platform and any rules he wants he gets. This is Mark Zuckerberg does at Facebook. The difference is that Zuckerberg dictates to the stockholders, but Musk won’t have many or any stockholders after the buyout. Musk says that he isn’t concerned with making a profit with Twitter, but with conservatives free to publish again, he probably will make tons of it.

President Trump has announced that he will not rejoin Twitter even if it is permitted. That’s no surprise as he will want to keep that traffic for TRUTH Social.

Bizpac Review reported:

Just hours after the $44 billion bid from Tesla CEO Elon Musk was accepted by Twitter shareholders, the social media company locked changes to its source code to prevent enraged leftists at the company from making retaliatory, unauthorized changes to the platform.

According to Bloomberg, which cited unnamed sources, the step was taken to ensure that disgruntled employees did not take their wrath out on the social media platform.

“Twitter imposed the temporary ban to keep employees who may be miffed about the deal from ‘going rogue,’ according to one of the people… Many of the company’s employees have been agitated about the idea of Musk taking charge and what changes may come,” the media outlet reported.

At least temporarily, Twitter will not allow updates to the platform unless they are “business-critical.” Any such changes will have to be approved by the vice-president of the company. The company is now a private entity totally under the control of Elon Musk. There is reportedly no longer a board of directors.

No date has been announced for Musk’s actual takeover, but I suspect it won’t be very long. Moss does not grow under Musk’s feet.
