Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, recently appeared on Fox News to address concerns regarding the Russia collusion narrative. She pointed out that former President Barack Obama and the media are distracting the public from significant details. Gabbard criticized the lack of discussion about changes in the intelligence community’s assessment of Russian interference.

During a press conference, Obama’s spokesperson, Patrick Rodenbush, dismissed President Donald Trump’s allegations of treason. He labeled the accusations as “outrageous.” Meanwhile, Gabbard emphasized that neither Obama’s office nor Democratic lawmakers are addressing a critical shift in intelligence assessments.

Gabbard noted that there was a “180-degree shift” in the intelligence community’s assessment before and after the election. Initially, they believed Russia did not intend or have the capability to impact the election outcome. However, after Trump’s victory, a new assessment was directed by Obama, contradicting earlier evaluations.

She criticized Democratic lawmakers like Virginia Senator Mark Warner and Connecticut Representative Jim Himes for deflecting attention from these contradictions. Gabbard accused them of avoiding the issue revealed in the documents released last week. She stated that over 100 documents provided undeniable facts about the intelligence community’s initial assessment.

According to Gabbard, the intelligence community originally concluded that there was no Russian interference in the 2016 election. This conclusion was made even after Trump defeated Hillary Clinton. The narrative changed after a Principals Committee meeting at the National Security Council, which Obama directed.

Gabbard condemned the subsequent January 2017 assessment, claiming it was drafted under Obama’s direction. She argued that the new document was based on discredited sources like the Steele dossier. Gabbard questioned why the intelligence community included information they knew was discredited.

She accused John Brennan, James Clapper, and James Comey of having “high confidence” in the January assessment despite using unreliable information. Gabbard stressed that the intelligence used lacked credibility and vetting. This decision to rely on such sources raised questions about the integrity of the assessment.

On Friday, Gabbard released a declassified file that she claims contains “overwhelming evidence” against Obama’s national security team. The file suggests that intelligence was politicized after Trump’s 2016 victory. It argues there was no evidence linking Trump to Russian activities or plans to alter the election outcome.

The accompanying memo indicates that Clapper and the Department of Homeland Security withheld essential context in their public statements. They failed to mention the FBI and NSA’s “low confidence” in attributing the September 2016 data leaks to Russia. Despite this, the memo discusses evidence supporting Russian involvement in hacking.

Gabbard’s revelations have sparked debates on the integrity of the intelligence community’s assessments. Critics argue that the Obama administration manipulated intelligence for political purposes. The discussion continues as more documents are expected to be released.

The Daily Caller News Foundation has made these revelations available to legitimate news publishers. They emphasize the importance of providing accurate information to the public. The foundation encourages transparency in reporting these critical issues.

Fox News and other conservative outlets have highlighted Gabbard’s concerns. They argue that the media should focus on these ignored details. The narrative surrounding Russian interference remains a contentious topic in political discourse.

Gabbard’s appearance on “The Will Cain Show” has brought attention to these overlooked issues. She urges the public to scrutinize the changes in intelligence assessments. Her call for transparency resonates with those questioning the narrative presented by mainstream media.

The revelations have led to renewed discussions about media bias and political motivations. Critics of the Obama administration demand accountability for the alleged manipulation of intelligence. The ongoing debate underscores the importance of examining all available evidence objectively.

As more documents are released, the narrative surrounding the 2016 election may continue to evolve. Gabbard’s efforts to bring these issues to light highlight the need for vigilance in political discourse. The public remains eager to learn the full truth behind these assessments.
