On Thursday, former President Donald Trump traveled to Washington D.C. and was subsequently arrested and arraigned before the US District Court Magistrate Judge Moxila Upadhyaya.
Trump pleaded not guilty to all counts after being charged in connection with his alleged attempts to overturn the result of the 2020 presidential election.
The new 45-page federal indictment, unsealed Tuesday, accuses Trump of four felony counts: conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding, and conspiracy against rights.
It’s the third time that Trump has been indicted on criminal charges. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges in the two other cases, decrying the investigations as political witch hunts. He continues to insist that the 2020 vote was rigged and, speaking to ABC News on Tuesday, described the latest charges as a “pile-on” and “election interference.”
Outside of the courthouse, his attorney Alina Habba spoke to reporters on the timeline of indictments against Trump and accused opponents of fearing him.
“I think a witch hunt is really the way that anybody should describe this because it’s not something we’ve seen in our time,” Habba said, accusing opponents of fearing an independently wealthy figure who “has given up his good life to fight for this country.”
Habba vowed to request discovery to prove the illegitimacy of the 2020 election – something the Democrats fear the most.
Just a few hours after his court appearance, Trump made a surprise visit to a wedding at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey where guests welcomed him with open arms and chants of “USA!”
Trump then offered a brief message to the newlywed couple, turning an ordinary wedding into a moment that those in attendance are likely never to forget.

This is Trump’s way of giving a massive ‘F*** you’ to the Washington Uniparty, Biden DOJ and the media that are all trying to imprison him because he… pic.twitter.com/yOgHt6oLBS
