The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) announced on Friday the recovery of 29 unaccompanied minors along the southern border. The children, aged 10 to 17, were found and turned over to U.S. Border Patrol. According to reports, all of these minors had “sponsors” in various states, including California, New York, Colorado, Florida, and Maine, among others.

This discovery comes amid growing concerns about the U.S. border crisis and the effectiveness of policies under President Joe Biden’s administration, with Vice President Kamala Harris tasked as the “Border Czar.” Critics argue that these policies have led to chaos at the border, contributing to the exploitation of vulnerable children. Recent figures reveal that approximately 325,000 migrant children have gone missing due to flawed border management.

The surge in unaccompanied minors crossing the border has been a persistent issue. The latest recovery of 29 children is part of a much larger problem, where thousands of minors, often sent by their families, make the perilous journey to the U.S. in hopes of a better future. However, many end up in dangerous situations, vulnerable to exploitation by human traffickers and smugglers.

While these minors reportedly have “sponsors” in various states, questions arise about the safety and intentions of those sponsors. Some critics of current immigration policies are concerned about whether adequate background checks and follow-up are conducted to ensure the well-being of these children once they are handed over to their sponsors.

In addition to the recovery of the minors, the Texas DPS also shared footage from an operation in Quemado, a small town near Eagle Pass, Texas. Officers apprehended 165 illegal immigrants during this operation, including 14 individuals from “special interest” countries such as Iran, Egypt, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. “Special interest” countries are nations identified by U.S. authorities as having heightened security risks due to terrorist activity or geopolitical tensions.

Authorities also made 57 arrests for trespassing during this operation. The apprehended individuals hailed from various nations, including Peru, El Salvador, and Honduras. This further illustrates the diversity of migrants attempting to cross into the United States and the complex challenges border officials face.

The Biden administration’s border policies have come under increasing scrutiny, particularly for their handling of unaccompanied minors and individuals from special interest countries. Critics argue that the current approach has not only created a humanitarian disaster but also poses a security threat.

Vice President Kamala Harris, appointed to oversee border issues, has faced criticism for her perceived inaction. The recent developments, particularly the recovery of the minors and the presence of individuals from special interest countries, have added to the mounting pressure on the administration to take more decisive action to secure the southern border and address the ongoing immigration crisis.

With the number of illegal crossings and humanitarian concerns on the rise, it is clear that the issue will continue to dominate political discourse in the months to come.

Footage from this next video shows how seriously the State of Texas takes its border security. While the Federal Government has neglected its Constitutional duties under Article IV, Section 4, DPS footage shows law enforcement lining up along the border wall with vehicles and sirens flashing as a show of force. Texas, unlike Kamala and Biden, actually cares about protecting the country.

Texas DPS has courageously been on the front lines in Texas keeping the border secure. Operation Lone Star has been successful at catching illegals, smugglers, and drug shipments. It was launched in 2021 by Republican Governor Greg Abbott in response to an intentionally neglectful Federal Government.

A shocking 15 million illegal aliens have invaded the US under the Biden/Harris regime.
