Florida surgeon general Joseph Ladapo just exposed Biden for the snake he really is. Ladapo blasted the blundered in Cheif Tuesday saying that the Biden administration has been intentionally inhibiting the circulation of Covid-19 therapeutics, which is undermining Florida’s strategy to tackle the disease.
Ladapo says in the letter, federal agencies should not control or limit options to combat COVID-19.
“The federal government is actively preventing the effective distribution of monoclonal antibody treatments in the U.S,” Ladapo said. “The sudden suspension of multiple monoclonal antibody therapy treatments from distribution to Florida removes a health care provider’s ability to decide the best treatment options for their patients in this state. This shortsightedness is especially evident given that the federal government effectively prohibited states from purchasing these monoclonal antibodies and serving their populations directly.”
Ladapo says in the letter that because some treatments offered may not be best effective against the Omicron variant, the federal government should not limit access to other available treatments which in the case of a novel pandemic, sounds more than reasonable. After all, there are still a ton of unknowns in regards to the virus, treatments, and vaccines.

The letter goes on to reference comments President Biden made on Monday, saying control of the pandemic should be handled at the state level. The President also vowed continued federal support.
“President Biden recently stated there is no federal solution to COVID-19, and solving this pandemic will happen at the state level. Therefore, as Surgeon General, I respectfully request that you allow states and healthcare practitioners to provide treatment options that best benefit the communities they know and serve,” the letter continues.
Florida’s letter comes after similar comments were made by Governor Greg Abbot (R-Texas), who accused the Biden Administration of “hoarding the anti-body therapeutic drugs.”
The Biden administration has yet to respond to Florida’s Surgeon General, but I imagine whatever their response might be—It won’t help the patients currently struggling to breathe.
