A stolen car crashed into a home on Renwood Road in Simpsonville, South Carolina, on October 15, 2026, after fleeing a police stop, and the entire moment was captured on a delivery driver’s dashcam.
The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office said deputies attempted to stop a reported stolen vehicle at around 2:30 p.m. The driver refused to stop, fled, and moments later crashed into the house.
Two juveniles, ages 15 and 16, are now in custody facing charges of possession of a stolen vehicle, according to a Facebook update from the sheriff’s office. Police initially said a person believed to be the driver was detained after running from the crash scene; a later update confirmed both teenagers were in custody.
The crash was recorded by Kristina Andriukova, 32, a grocery delivery driver who happened to be dropping off an order at the property when the car struck the house.
“I turned around and saw that a car had crashed into the house,” Andriukova said. “At first, I thought the driver had accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake and driven into the garage.”
The arrival of sirens made clear what had actually happened.
“Moments later, police cars arrived with their sirens on, and I saw someone running away,” she said. “That’s when I realized it was actually a police chase.”
Andriukova’s dashcam only caught the incident because she deviated from her normal routine that day.
“Normally, I pull into the driveway to get closer to the house, but for some reason, this time I decided to park on the street instead,” she said. “My car ended up being parked near the house where the crash occurred.”
She left the scene shortly after, passing several more police cars responding to the area. She later saw a local news report describing the incident as teenagers crashing a stolen vehicle into a house while trying to outrun police.
“I was simply doing my job, delivering groceries, and suddenly found myself in the middle of a dangerous situation,” Andriukova said.
