Marine Lt. Col. Fired For Demanding ‘Accountability’ From Biden Admin Expects Jail Time
Marine Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller was relieved of duty for insisting on accountability for the fiasco in Afghanistan that led to the deaths of 13 American soldiers. He now says he expects to be court-martialed and sent to prison for some period of time. Scheller explained the way the process works:
“The Marine Corps will assign an investigating officer. Most likely a Colonel. Once the investigating officer finalizes his recommendation, the Marine Corps will decide if they should pursue court-martial.”
“If it goes to court-martial, I will be found guilty and will probably do some jail time. This will provide me a valuable opportunity to read, write, and contemplate.”
Scheller posted a four-and-a-half-minute video in which he criticized Biden and top military brass for the idiotic way the operation was run and he was angry that no one stood up and pointed the finger at themselves. Biden needs a half a dozen additional sets of arms to cover all the people he points at that caused him to reveal himself to be a blundering old fool. Biden somehow thinks what he did in Afghanistan was a huge victory. Biden might think he was victorious, but don’t try to collect from your bookie unless you took the Taliban and 14 points.
Scheller said in the video:
“People are upset because their senior leaders let them down, and none of them are raising their hands and accepting accountability or saying, ‘We messed this up. I’m not saying we’ve got to be in Afghanistan forever, but I am saying: Did any of you throw your rank on the table and say, ‘Hey, it’s a bad idea to evacuate Bagram Airfield, a strategic airbase, before we evacuate everyone’? Did anyone do that? And when you didn’t think to do that, did anyone raise their hands and say, ‘We completely messed this up’?”
“Potentially all those people did die in vain if we don’t have senior leaders that own up and raise their hand and say, ‘We did not do this well, in the end. Without that, we just keep repeating the same mistakes. I have been fighting for 17 years. I am willing to throw it all away to say to my senior leaders: I demand accountability.”
