LSU head coach Lane Kiffin walked into Tiger Stadium on Saturday ahead of his team’s game against Alabama with a lineup of celebrity company: NBA great Shaquille O’Neal, Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes, WNBA star Angel Reese, and actor Kevin Costner.
O’Neal, Skenes and Reese all built their athletic careers at LSU, making their presence at the walk a natural fit. Costner’s connection to the program is not established.
Costner reportedly spent part of the walk looking at his phone.
The game carries high stakes for LSU, which needs a win over Alabama to strengthen its case for a College Football Playoff berth.
