The media doesn’t seem to care anymore if they are blatantly airing fake news.
To prove this point, all you have to do is take a look at the video footage that was aired by KCPQ, Q13 Fox, in Seattle, Washington. The station aired what clearly seems to be doctored video footage of President Donald Trump’s prime-time Address to the Nation this past Tuesday evening.
The video attached to the tweet seems to be a phone recording of the start of Q13’s coverage of the address. Part of the President’s speech goes into a voice-over by the program’s host.

Those watching the original speech didn’t see the same thing, however.
“We performed a side-by-side comparison of the video from our listener … to the raw video of Trump’s speech from CNN,” Herman stated.
It just goes to show that you really can’t trust the media.
Take a look at the difference between the original video and the doctored video:
The Q13 video, shows Trump’s skin as a dark orange color. The video also appears to be rather zoomed in on his face, seemingly to make his head appear larger.
Conservative Tribune explains that “in the raw footage, the president licks his lips once while speaking, probably to moisten them before immediately going on. In the Q13 video, that action appears to be ‘looped,’ so Trump is shown licking his lips repeatedly, which looks a bit disturbing and creepy.”
“We are investigating this to determine what happened. This does not meet our editorial standards and we regret if it is seen as portraying the President in a negative light. The editor responsible for editing the footage is being placed on leave while we investigate further.”
Think for a moment about the consequences if a terrorist organization obtained the power to put out video of world leaders saying anything they pleased. Global stability would be thrown into question for the rest of time. The potential repercussions are downright terrifying.
