Dating speculation involving USMNT star Christian Pulisic and country singer Megan Moroney is picking up steam again after Moroney spent time in Italy, where Pulisic plays professionally for AC Milan.
The rumor first surfaced earlier this summer when Pulisic, sidelined by an ankle injury that ended his World Cup early, was seen with Moroney in Nashville. He had taken his cousin to one of her shows, and the two were later spotted together at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row on Broadway. Fans also noted the pair follow each other on social media, which was enough to get the rumor mill running at the time.
Nothing was confirmed then, and questions about whether the two were simply friends or something more went unanswered.
The speculation has since gained new life. Moroney posted on Instagram from a stop in Italy ahead of several European dates on her Cloud 9 Tour — the same country where Pulisic plays club soccer for AC Milan.
Adding to the chatter, Moroney posted an Instagram Story that appeared to show her wearing a PUMA Christian Pulisic Fanwear Collection jersey, according to Whiskey Riff. There’s no confirmation that the jersey belongs to Pulisic personally rather than simply being a piece from his branded fan collection.
As of now, neither Pulisic nor Moroney has confirmed a relationship. The rumors remain unconfirmed speculation built on a string of coincidences.
