Piers Morgan recently admitted that his previous rhetoric regarding COVID was wrong and that he had “changed his mind” about the virus after the science changed.
In an interview with “Triggernometry,” Morgan said he had criticized the unvaccinated because health experts said at the time that no one with the vaccine could catch or transmit the virus.
Of course, we now know that this isn’t necessarily the case and that even vaccinated people can become infected. As a result, Morgan said he now believes that getting the jab is a “personal choice.”
Unfortunately, many people still seem to be stuck in the same mindset as Morgan was in the beginning, and it’s become increasingly evident that many of them are more than willing to ignore the science and push their own agendas.
Take, for example, the “sick liberal ideologies” that have been pushed over the past year, and the tyrannical lockdown measures that have been implemented in many areas.
On the one hand, some people have argued that the lockdowns are necessary in order to protect people from the virus, while on the other, there are those who have argued that the restrictions are an overreach of government power and an infringement on individual freedoms.
The truth is, both sides have valid points, and it’s important that we all take the time to consider them. Ultimately, it’s up to each of us to make an informed decision about what we feel is best for our health and safety and to make sure that we’re doing our part to keep ourselves and those around us safe.
At the end of the day, it’s clear that Morgan was wrong about his previous rhetoric surrounding the virus, but it’s also clear that there’s still a lot of work to be done in order to ensure that everyone is taking the necessary steps to protect themselves and those around them.
We need to have an open and honest dialogue about the science and the facts in order to make sure that we’re all doing our part to keep each other safe and to make sure that everyone is making informed decisions about their health.
