North Korea to Begin Hydrogen Bomb Tests Over the Pacific

Well, everyone.  It was nice knowing you.  Apparently, North Korea plans to test hydrogen bombs above ground.

North Korean official Ri Yong Pil broke the news in an interview with CNN.  Ri Yong Ho, the nation’s foreign minister, dropped hints at the U.N. about testing hydrogen bombs.  As we have seen, supreme leader Kim Jong Un is relentless in his attempts to make North Korea a relevant nation in the global arena.

For the most part, all of this serves to threaten Japan, South Korea, and the United States.  Particularly, they really want to threaten the United States.

The regime revealed they wanted to show “reliable defensive and offensive capability to counter any aggression from the United States.”

The statements made the already-tense relations between the countries even worse.  Harsher sanctions were placed on North Korea.  Fiery exchanges occurred in the U.N.

While the U.S. has tried to pressure the rogue country back into diplomacy, the two countries are not on speaking terms.

For their part, North Korea says that the U.S. idea of diplomacy is more threatening than friendly.

From Ri Yong Pil:

The U.S. is talking about a military option and even practicing military moves. They’re pressuring us on all fronts with sanctions. If you think this will lead to diplomacy, you’re deeply mistaken.

What’s to be done?  It’s clear we’re either heading to World War 3, or we’re going to get blown up.

The rogue country plans to test the bomb somewhere over the Pacific Ocean.

In a world where most nations have agreed that hydrogen bombs should be banned, North Korea chooses to do the opposite.

In my opinion, Something harsher than sanctions must be done to fix this problem.  The supreme leader won’t stop until he has killed Americans on a massive scale.

What do you think the United States should do to fix the North Korea problem?
