“Yaga,” a new witchy horror-mystery series starring “Heated Rivalry” actor Hudson Williams, premiered Oct. 23 exclusively on AMC+. There is no free way to watch it.

The two-episode debut dropped at 3 a.m. ET on the streaming service, which requires a paid subscription. AMC+ offers two plans: an ad-supported tier for $7.99 a month and a Premium tier for $10.99 a month. Both include access to “Yaga,” and both come with a seven-day free trial for new subscribers who want to sample the show before paying.

The series is a Crave original from Canada, created by Kat Sandler, who adapted it from her 2019 stage play of the same name. It draws on the legend of Baba Yaga.

According to Bell Media’s official description, the show follows private investigator Rapp, played by “Schitt’s Creek” star Noah Reid, as he arrives in a small coastal town to investigate the disappearance of Henry Park, a young heir to a powerful fishery, played by Williams. Along the way he clashes with local detective Carson, played by Clark Backo, and crosses paths with Katherine, a university professor played by Carrie-Anne Moss of “The Matrix” fame, along with a cast of secretive suspects.

New episodes of “Yaga” will roll out weekly on AMC+ at 3 a.m. ET, with the season running through Nov. 27.
