On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, ABC’s The View saw fit to have former federal prosecutor and staunch racist, Sunny Hostin, use the show as a platform to decry the public’s adoption of King’s dream of judging a person solely by their character and not the color of their skin. The multi-millionaire then proceeded to demand reparations, as if that was ever part of the dream.

Hostin scoffed at the idealization of King’s dream, claiming that he was a “radical” and that he wanted “wealth redistribution”. She also found it despicable that “people are real comfortable lately with diversity, they’re real comfortable with inclusion” but didn’t want reparations.

At no point did Hostin cite anything King supposedly said about reparations. Not to be outdone, co-host Whoopi Goldberg had her own take on the issue, suggesting the entire banking system was racist because it was “not set up for black people” and that women today are not considered human.

Hostins continued, “And so, while we always hear this, I want my little girls and boys to be judged by the content of their character and not the color of their skin, that’s all you ever hear anyone saying.

But he was a radical. He was deeply invested in economic equality. And he was deeply invested in making sure that black people got reparations and that there was wealth distribution – redistribution, and that’s the one area when we talk about diversity and we talk about inclusion and we talk about equity.”

Here are the transcripts to 11 of King’s most notable speeches. “reparations” only appears once and it was in regard to the Vietnam war and the people of Vietnam trying to flee the war-ridden country. I know this may sound crazy to a racist like Hostin, But King’s legacy is that he wanted all Americans to be treated equally—”To be judged by the content of their character and not the color of their skin”.

I know that doesn’t fit the left’s bigoted agenda, but the man was pretty clear about the future he wanted to see. The left’s pursuit of ‘equity’ and not equality, is pulling us farther from that dream.

Watch

It’s beyond disappointing to see the liberal propaganda machine at ABC’s The View using Martin Luther King Jr. Day to push a false narrative about the civil rights leader’s legacy and to promote racism.

The fact that Hostin and Goldberg can get away with such dangerous rhetoric is a testament to the left’s control of the media.

Hostin and Goldberg’s outrageous comments were made possible because of lucrative sponsorships from Purina and Humana. It’s time for these companies to take a stand and stop supporting the left’s dangerous agenda. Until they do, they should expect to be held accountable.
