It happens after every mass shooting. Democrats rally around the demand to take away guns from the American public. They villainize the NRA, but no mass shooter has ever been a member.
The NRA is one of the oldest U.S. civil rights organizations. It defends the right for citizens to keep and bear arms. Specifically, against tyrannical governments and criminals seeking to do harm.
On the left, the NRA is considered a terrorist organization. Supposedly, they encourage their members to shoot innocent U.S. civilians. They encourage mass murder with automatic assault rifles.
However, not one mass shooter has been a member of the NRA. To note, a mass shooter is loosely defined. A shooting becomes a “mass shooting” once four or more people are killed. Check the records. In fact, an engaged discussion on Quora is dedicated to finding one.

Even the left-leaning paper, The Washington Post, has tried and failed to peg a mass shooter as a member of the NRA. They have made extensive records of every mass shooting going back to 50 years. It includes details of the weapons and the shooters. “NRA” doesn’t appear next to any of the 135 profiles.
We all know that if The Washington Post ever caught this detail, it would be shared to an obnoxious degree. In fact, most mass shooters are left-leaning people. That is not to say that people on the left are bad, but these people have taken the beliefs to an extreme. As we saw in Las Vegas, they take these beliefs as an excuse to harm innocent Americans.
