As a comedian once said, the greatest civil rights movement of our time is children.  Parents nowadays cannot believe that their precious little angel acts more like a devil.  That’s why this Christmas story is so refreshing.

Two parents in Ohio completely owned up to what a brat their kid is with a hilarious Christmas gift.  Paul and Mary Sommers of Beavercreek told WHIO-TV in Dayton they wanted to give a memorable gift.  The gift went to all the teachers at Ascension School in Kettering, and it definitely got a few laughs.

They gave every teacher a picture of their son Jake imposed on a bottle of wine.  That’s not the only thing that was funny.  The caption underneath reading:

Our child might be the reason you drink, so enjoy this bottle on us.

While Mary Sommers didn’t say that her sone was terrible, she knows he is a kid and probably gets in his fair share of trouble.

How many coffee mugs does a teacher need? But who doesn’t need a glass of wine after teaching a kid like mine?

Jake always has something to say.  He’s that kid.

Jake’s older brother DJ brother posted the hilarious gift on Twitter.  Since then, it’s gained national attention and a good laugh from many.

My parents always get our elementary school teachers a present around Christmas. Typically something small like a candle or flower to say ‘thank you’. This year they got them bottles of wine & replaced the labels with their own with my brother on them…Happy holidays.

The tweet has gotten almost 8000 retweets and 45,000 likes.  I’m sure the teachers really appreciated this amazing, creative gift.  This probably made the teacher have a little more appreciation for Jake’s shenanigans.

Share this with your friends and family to spread some good old-fashioned holiday cheer!
