Production on the third season of Taylor Sheridan’s oil-industry drama “Landman” is gearing up in Fort Worth, Texas, with casting calls for extras held September 24 and 25.
Paramount renewed the show for a third season in December after the second season became a streaming hit for Paramount+. The Season 2 finale aired January 18, 2026.
Michael Kelly, known for his roles in “Lioness” and “Jack Ryan,” is joining “Landman” as a series regular. He will play William Crockett, described as a titan of industry who leads the largest oil management firm in the world.
Billy Bob Thornton is expected to return as Tommy, the lead character audiences have followed since the show began.
