Production on Season 3 of Taylor Sheridan’s hit oil-industry drama “Landman” is underway in Fort Worth, Texas, but viewers won’t see the new episodes until sometime in 2027.
Paramount+ has not announced an official release date. Filming began earlier this month in Fort Worth and is expected to continue through early 2027, making a mid-to-late 2027 debut the most likely timeline.
The Season 2 finale aired January 18, 2026, on Paramount+. Paramount renewed the show for a third season after Season 2 drew strong viewership, and star Billy Bob Thornton is confirmed to return as Tommy.
Several cast changes are coming with Season 3. Michael Kelly, known for “Lioness,” has joined the show playing a “titan of industry who leads the largest oil management firm in the world.” Colm Feore (Nathan), Mustafa Speaks (Boss), Bobbi Salvor Menuez (Paigyn Meester) and Francesca Xuereb (Cheyenne) have all been promoted to series regulars.
Seasons 1 and 2 of “Landman” are currently streaming on Paramount+. The streamer offers an ad-supported Essential plan for $8.99 a month and an ad-free Premium plan, which includes Showtime titles and live CBS, for $13.99 a month. Paramount+ can also be added through Prime Video, Hulu or YouTube.
