Production on Season 3 of Paramount+’s oil-patch drama “Landman” has begun in Fort Worth, Texas, with filming expected to run through early 2027.

The series, which follows Billy Bob Thornton’s Tommy as he navigates the Texas oil business, wrapped its Season 2 finale on Paramount+ on January 18, 2026. Paramount renewed the show for a third season following that run.

No official release date has been set, but with production stretching into early 2027, new episodes are expected to arrive sometime in mid-to-late 2027.

Four cast members have been promoted to series regulars for the new season: Colm Feore (Nathan), Mustafa Speaks (Boss), Bobbi Salvor Menuez (Paigyn Meester) and Francesca Xuereb (Cheyenne). “Lioness” actor Michael Kelly has also joined the cast, playing what producers describe as a “titan of industry who leads the largest oil management firm in the world.”

Seasons 1 and 2 of “Landman” are currently streaming on Paramount+. The service offers an ad-supported Essential plan for $8.99 a month and an ad-free Premium plan, which includes Showtime content and live CBS, for $13.99 a month. Paramount+ can also be added through Prime Video, Hulu or YouTube for an additional $13.99 a month, with YouTube offering a free trial option.
