Fox News host Kat Timpf is pregnant with her second child, the comedian and “Gutfeld!” co-host announced this week, capping a brutal stretch that included a breast cancer diagnosis, a double mastectomy and the sudden death of her father.
Timpf, 37, broke the news to a live crowd at one of her stand-up shows over the weekend, then posted a clip to Instagram Wednesday night showing her spinning around and lifting her shirt to reveal her stomach.
“Are you guys surprised? So was I,” Timpf said. “I shouldn’t have been though, ’cause I’m married to a veteran and the army always does seem to take a while to pull out of something.”
In her caption, Timpf thanked the crowd for keeping the secret: “Huge thanks to the 1,500ish besties at my show this wknd for keeping my secret. So awesome to be the portal for a new little soul.”
This will be Timpf’s second child with her husband, Cameron Friscia, a former Army Ranger who served in Afghanistan. The couple met on Raya, the members-only celebrity dating app, got engaged in August 2020, and married in May 2021. They live in Manhattan with their son and three pets: a cat named Cheens, a dog named Carl and a one-eyed rescue cat nicknamed “The Juan-eyed cat.”
A brutal year
Timpf’s first pregnancy was upended in February 2025 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer just hours before going into labor. She gave birth to a son, whose name has not been made public, roughly 15 hours after her diagnosis.
Her cancer was ductal carcinoma in situ, known as stage zero breast cancer — a condition in which cancer cells form in a milk duct but haven’t spread into surrounding breast tissue, according to the Mayo Clinic. Timpf underwent a double mastectomy in March 2025 and was declared cancer-free the following month. She had reconstruction surgery in July 2025 and later visited a Maryland artist who specializes in 3D nipple tattoos.
Then came another blow. Timpf’s father, Daniel Timpf, died unexpectedly on May 7 at age 69. In a June Instagram post, she described the toll it had taken.
“So, everyone knows I’ve had a really rough year last year – diagnosed with breast cancer, 15 hours later went into labor, gave birth to my son, had a double mastectomy,” Timpf wrote. “My dad helped me through the whole thing. Then, two months after my son’s first birthday, my dad just dropped dead, so it’s been really hard.”
Timpf is a fixture on Fox News, appearing regularly on “Gutfeld!,” “Fox & Friends” and “The Five.” She previously co-hosted the podcast “Tyrus and Timpf” with wrestler Tyrus and started her career at The Washington Times. A Detroit native, she holds a bachelor’s degree from Hillsdale College.
