Nearly 40 days after Joe Biden withdrew from the 2024 race, CNN’s Dana Bash interviewed Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.

Despite the request for a live press conference and refusal to answer questions after reportedly taking Biden’s delegates in July, Harris and Walz only consented to an interview with Bash.

The full 18-minute transcript has not been released by CNN.

During the interview, Harris struggled to provide a coherent response to a simple question posed by Bash, leading to speculation as to why she is avoiding live press conferences.
