According to records obtained by Judicial Watch, Joe Biden utilized alias emails to correspond with his family members during his tenure as Vice President.
Among these emails was one in which he authorized a temporary suspension of Secret Service protection for his son Hunter and granddaughter Natalie during a trip to Kosovo.
Judicial Watch, a conservative watchdog group, acquired these alias emails through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the National Archives (NARA).
According to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) response, the National Archives has confirmed the discovery of 5,138 email messages and 25 electronic files related to the known pseudonym accounts associated with Joe Biden: [email protected], [email protected], and [email protected].
The National Archives recently announced that it had discovered 82,000 pages of emails sent or received by then-Vice President Joe Biden on three private pseudonym accounts.
These emails are suspected to be related to illicit business dealings with foreign officials. However, despite this finding, the National Archives has only released a minuscule fraction of these emails, withholding approximately 99.98% of them.
House Oversight Chairman James Comer revealed that out of the 82,000 pages, only 14 have been handed over so far.
“Judicial Watch announced today it received 426 pages of records in a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit from the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) that show then-Vice President Joe Biden’s use of an email alias to correspond with family members, including son Hunter and brother James; and that Joe Biden signed off on the cessation of Secret Service protection for Hunter Biden and Beau Biden’s daughter Natalie during an August 2016 trip to Kosovo.” the watchdog wrote in a blog post on Wednesday.
The recently released emails provide additional details about Jill Biden’s visit to Greece in 2011, including photos of her with US troops on the USS Ramage.
Other documents reveal that Joe Biden, then-Vice President, approved the suspension of Secret Service protection for his family during a trip to Kosovo in August 2016.
One email dated August 18, 2016, sent from Hunter Biden’s Rosemont Seneca email address to Jeremy Sherida, Assistant Director of the Office of Investigations at the Secret Service, states: “Thank you. Both the Vice President and I agree to temporarily suspend protection for Natalie and Hunter as requested.”
The suspension lasted from August 18 to August 22, 2016 while they were in Kosovo and resumed upon their return to Washington, D.C., on August 22.
It is unclear where Hunter Biden and Natalie Biden traveled without their Secret Service detail during this period.

“Joe Biden’s alias emails show Joe Biden and his family had a close working relationship on government matters,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “No wonder the Biden administration had been hiding these emails from Congress and the American people.”
