“I was stunned when I came to work yesterday, and brokenhearted, when I saw what a member of Congress was doing.”

During a press conference on Thursday, White House Chief of Staff John Kelly wiped the floor with the liberal media, and criticized Congresswoman Frederica Wilson over her remarks of slamming President Donald Trump for what he said in a phone call to the grieving widow of one of the four US service members killed in Niger two weeks ago.

The retired Marine general lost his own son in battle, and said that he was “stunned” when he heard Wilson’s criticism. Kelly said he was so disgusted, he actually took time to himself at the Arlington National Cemetery to compose himself saying:

“What she was saying, what she was doing on TV. The only thing I could do to collect my thoughts was to go walk among the finest men or women on this Earth.”

Kelly also said he had told President Trump what he was told after he lost his own son. Kelly says Trump said something similar in his remarks to Sgt. La David Johnson’s widow.

“He was doing exactly what he wanted to do when he was killed. He knew what he was getting into by joining that one percent. He knew what the possibilities were, because we were at war.”

John Kelly also went on to say how things in this world have changed immensely.

Kelly then went on to make the comment that unlike in the good old days, some things no longer get respect ― like Gold Star families, religion and women.

“When I was a kid growing up, a lot of things were sacred in our country. Women were sacred and looked upon with great honor. That’s obviously not the case anymore, as we see from recent cases.”

Kelly’s comment comes as numerous women have levied sexual harassment and assault allegations against film executive Harvey Weinstein, and women are sharing stories of abuse on social media under the hashtag #MeToo.
