The Biden administration and their lackeys are showing just how incompetent they truly are. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre recently attempted to defend Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg by invoking former Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, but she mistakenly called her the head of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
In a moment of pure political stunts, Jean-Pierre argued that because Chao did not face any backlash during her time as Transportation Secretary, Buttigieg should not be facing criticism for his handling of the train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio.
“If you remember Elaine Chao, she was you know, she was the head of Department of Transportation and where when there was these types of chemical spills; nobody was calling for her to be fired and nobody was calling for what they’re calling on Secretary Pete” said Jean-Pierre.
She proceeded to double down on this comparison by accidentally referring to Chao as the head of EPA! “Elaine Chao who is the head of Environmental Protection Agency…DOT,” a reporter corrected her.
It is clear that this administration is completely out of touch with reality if they think it’s appropriate to compare a Trump appointment with an Obama/Biden appointee in order to defend their own mistakes.
But it doesn’t end there – immediately after making this massive blunder, Jean-Pierre then proceeded to make another one while attempting to answer another question!
“So today, as you all saw just an hour or so ago, President Obama announced that—Pardon me, President Biden!” Jean-Pierre said. “Whoa! Ahem, that is news. I know, we’re going back not forwards. We’ve gotta go forwards.”
Whoa indeed! Can we really trust someone running media relations for our president if they can’t even keep track which president we are currently under?
If your only argument is “but Elaine Chao was also bad,” then you’re basically admitting you have no argument and have just given up https://t.co/VLcNN3CesV

It seems like every day there’s something new from this administration that makes us shake our heads in disbelief: whether it be misquoting facts or getting basic information wrong about appointments and government agencies; this team isn’t doing themselves any favors with these gaffs. And yet President Biden still stands firmly behind his pickings – wouldn’t you expect more accountability from our leaders?
