US Intel called it! They said they had inside information that Russian President Vladmir Putin was going to pull a ‘false flag’ move and use it was an excuse to attack Ukraine. So, excuse me when I question his recent claim that he suddenly uncovered a mass grave of ‘Russian Speaking civilians’.
First, we were warned. My next thought here was, how did he know they were Russian speaking? Did he ask them?
Russia’s Investigative Committee claimed on Wednesday that mass graves of hundreds of Russian-speaking civilians had been found in the Donbas region, as the Russian government continued to accuse Ukraine of genocide and human rights violations in Donbas.
The committee claimed that the civilians found in the area controlled by Russian-backed separatists were killed by Ukrainian shelling. “The Investigative Committee continues to take all possible measures to uphold the principle of the inevitability of punishment for those responsible for committing crimes in Donetsk and Luhansk areas,” said the committee.
The announcement comes a day after Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that “in our view what is now happening in Donbas is genocide” and claimed that there were “mass violations of human rights in Ukraine” during a press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. Putin has made similar accusations in the past.
Does this mean war? So far it looks more like a legal fight as Putin seeks criminal charges:
“The Russian Investigative Committee launching a criminal probe into the mass graves came a day after Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the current events in the Donbas region are a “genocide”. Kremlin leader had further said that the Ukrainian government has continued to violate human rights such as legalizing discrimination of the Russian-speaking population in the Ukrainian region. ”
Government fact checkers investigated Putin’s legal discrimination claim and determined, like everything else, it was a lie.
