A Florida woman was arrested after authorities say she urinated throughout two separate short-term rental units and uploaded footage of the acts to adult websites, sparking a criminal investigation and questions about safety and platform responsibility.

Local law enforcement reports that agents executed an arrest following complaints from two Airbnb hosts who found extensive contamination and damage at their properties; investigators connected the incidents to videos posted online. The woman was taken into custody and booked on charges related to public indecency and property damage, according to the authorities handling the case.

Hosts described finding human waste smeared across furniture, bedding, and appliances, leaving units unusable until professional cleaning crews could be brought in. Those physical costs translate to lost bookings and replacement expenses, and several nights of cancellations multiplied the hit to each owner’s income and reputation on short-term rental platforms.

Detectives say the online uploads helped identify the suspect by matching visual details from the videos with the interiors of the affected rentals, then tracing accounts on adult content sites. That kind of digital trail is becoming more common in investigations where perpetrators document wrongdoing, and law enforcement notes that platform cooperation can be crucial to moving a case forward.

The adult websites that hosted the footage were reportedly contacted as part of the inquiry to preserve evidence and to seek removal of the material, though platforms vary in how quickly they act. Privacy and decency concerns are front and center for victims whose damaged properties became backdrops for content meant to attract views rather than provide legitimate adult entertainment.

Beyond criminal exposure, there are civil remedies available to property owners, who can pursue compensation for cleaning, lost revenue, and repairs through insurance claims or small claims court. Hosts and property managers are being urged to document damage thoroughly with photos and receipts and to work with the rental platform and local police to create an official record.

This episode has renewed conversations about screening guests, securing properties between stays, and using smart locks, cameras in public areas, and enhanced cleaning protocols to reduce risk. Short-term rental platforms and hosts alike face pressure to balance guest privacy with the need to protect homes and future renters from similar misconduct.

Investigators say the case remains active and that anyone with information about the incidents or similar uploads should contact local law enforcement to assist the ongoing probe. The arrests send a clear message that using rental properties as sets for damaging or exploitative behavior can carry serious legal consequences.
