A 70-year-old Florida attorney, Lisa White, is under arrest and set for trial on November 16, 2026, after allegedly threatening to shoot ICE agents during a visit to a Mississippi gun store.
According to WLOX, the case began in late September when White entered the store to buy a firearm and started asking an employee about the effectiveness of body armor.
The employee says White told them ICE agents were “becoming crazy and wild” and that she needed a gun because she was “a protester and activist.” She then allegedly said that if agents were wearing body armor, she assumed she’d have to shoot them in the head, shoulder, or leg.
“If I have to die, I have to die,” White allegedly told the employee after being warned she would likely end up at gunpoint herself if she tried what she was describing.
Hoodline New Orleans reported that Homeland Security Investigations agents followed up by visiting the store, interviewing witnesses, and subsequently arresting White.
White now awaits trial next month on charges stemming from the alleged threats.
