A crazy, topless feminist caused quite a stir at the Vatican. The woman was part of the group FEMEN. In the latest stunt from this militant feminist group, she tried to steal a statue of Jesus from a Nativity scene.
From Reuters:
A Reuters photographer said the woman jumped over guard rails and rushed onto the larger-than-life Nativity scene shouting “God is woman”. She had the same slogan painted on her back.
She didn’t get very far. Almost immediately, the Vatican gendarme captured the unhinged woman.
The “protest” occurred just two hours before Pope Francis delivered his Christmas message to 50,000 onlookers.
Believe it or not, this is not the first time a FEMEN member has tried this. Back in 2014, a woman tried to steal the Nativity Jesus after sneaking in through a hole. Throughout the effort, she screamed anti-Catholic slogans. “God is woman” was painted across her bare chest.
Another disturbing display took place in 2014. FEMEN protesters stood topless in St. Peter’s square and used crucifixes to simulate anal sex. Throughout the bizarre display, they chanted, “God is not a magician, a world without religion.”
FEMEN released a statement about the protests.
FEMEN sextremist Alisa Vinogradova has kidnapped the papal doll of the baby Christ from the Vatican Christmas nativity scene in the square of St. Peter in Vatican.
On the sextremist’s chests, there was the inscription – “God is woman!”. The FEMEN act was directed against the Vatican’s infringement of the rights of women to their own bodies. In particular, against the policy of the “Holy See” associated with the promotion of the ban on abortion and “sacred condemnation” of contraception.
FEMEN considers the anti-war policy of the Vatican a rough medieval attack on the freedom of women and their natural rights.
FEMEN encourages women to follow the example of the movement and kidnap babies from religious denominations, thus, stating their right to use of their own body!
A child is not from a god, but from a woman! For a woman is God!
