Donald Trump Said All Documents Seized by FBI During the Raid of His Mar-a-Lago Home Were ‘Declassified’

On Friday, President Donald Trump said that all the documents that were seized by FBI agents during the unnecessary raid on his Mar-a-Lago home on Monday were declassified.

“Number one, it was all declassified,” Trump wrote in a statement that was given to reporters. “Number two, they didn’t need to ‘seize’ anything.”

He’s right. In June, just two months ago, Trump gave full access to all the documents, and he even stopped by when they were there to say hello. He told them whatever they need to just ask. The only thing the agents asked of the former president was to keep them in a more secure location than the secure location they were in. Trump agreed, the boxes were moved, and the FBI agents padlocked the documents. There was no need for a raid other than to make a political statement to harm Trump from running in 2024 and to attack his credibility for endorsing Republicans in the 2022 midterm elections.

Yes. Democrats are this desperate.

The DOJ’s scheme failed miserably. The FBI has become a weapon of the Democrats to be used against their political opponents.

The 45th president said that the documents were secure and the FBI could have asked for any documents they wanted, and said instead they chose the political route.

“They could have had it anytime they wanted and that includes LONG ago,” he wrote. “ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS ASK.”

The list of seized documents on the FBI list that was given to the Trump team consisted of “Various Classified/TS/SCI documents,” and “Info re: President of France, and an Executive Grant of Clemency re: Roger Jason Stone, Jr.” On top of that, were things described as a “potential presidential record,” a “leather-bound box of documents,” a “binder of photos,” some “miscellaneous Secret Documents,” and a “handwritten note.”

Whether Trump declassified the documents in question is becoming more and more relevant as the lawless Merrick Garland’s DOJ has to establish if they have the power to prosecute the president.

If they are declassified, they don’t. Even if they are not declassified, what they pulled is an unprecedented display of corruption as the same DOJ and FBI did not charge Hillary Clinton who blatantly violated the Espionage Act over 100 times by keep and sending classified documents on a private email server she used when serving as Barack Obama’s secretary of state.

She used the private server to get around being monitored on the government’s email servers. She should have been prosecuted, but she had a D next to her name. To go after the immediate former president like this is unthinkable, and yet they did it.

The president is the one person in the government who has the power to classify and declassify any documents at his discretion and at any time. If the documents were declassified while Trump was in office, then the DOJ had made a colossal mistake that should cost Garland and Wary their jobs.

Kash Patel, who served as the Chief of Staff to the Acting United States Secretary of Defense under President Donald Trump, said on Dan Bongino‘s radio show on Friday that President Trump had already declassified the materials at Mar-a-Lago.

“I was there with President Trump when he said ‘We are declassifying this information,’” he said.

Game. Set. Match.

Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wray need to go.
