It is an outrage that federal law enforcement has been weaponized by the Democratic Party to undermine President Donald Trump and his administration.
The Durham Report, released last Monday, has only further highlighted the length to which the FBI went to target Trump and his supporters in order to manufacture a false conspiracy theory about former Trump-Russia collusion.
Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida, who was one of former President Trump’s closest allies in Congress, has voiced his outrage regarding this egregious abuse of power.
In 2018, DeSantis sent a letter to then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions and FBI Director Christopher Wray, pushing them to criminally investigate many of the players involved in the investigation.
The letter accused former FBI Director James Comey of leaking classified information, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton of hiding campaign payments to the firm that produced the now-discredited Steele dossier, and former Attorney General Loretta Lynch of threatening someone who allegedly came forward with dirt on Clinton.
Furthermore, the letter also drew attention to federal law enforcement’s activities regarding former Trump aide Carter Page.
The letter referred to the DOJ and FBI personnel who signed the Carter Page warrant application that contained unverified and/or false information for possible violations of 18 USC 242 and 18 USC 1505 and 1515b.
DeSantis spoke out again recently following the Durham report. The media loves to spin this narrative that Trump and DeSantis are sworn enemies but this just goes to show that you should never believe the hype.
DeSantis stepped up to slam deep-state corruption that nearly tore the country apart in 2016 and defend Trump.

It is clear that the FBI and other federal law enforcement agencies were weaponized by the Democrats to target former President Trump and his administration. This is an affront to the principles of democracy and justice and must be addressed. It is imperative that those involved in this egregious abuse of power are held to account and that measures are taken to ensure that such behavior is not repeated in the future.
We need to demand that the DOJ and FBI conduct an independent and thorough investigation into the weaponization of federal law enforcement by the Democrats in order to bring justice and accountability to the situation. We must also ensure that those responsible will be held to account and that proper procedures are put in place to ensure that such a travesty of justice does not happen again.
