It’s a sad day in America when the children of politicians are allowed to commit crimes and get away with it. No, I’m not just talking about Joe Biden’s crooked methhead son, Hunter.
The latest example of this is the transgender-identifying child of Democratic Rep. Katherine Clark of Massachusetts, Jared “Riley” Dowell. On January 23, 2023, Riley was arrested for assaulting a police officer, vandalizing a monument, and other crimes during a Boston Common protest.
What’s even more outrageous is that Riley was given probation in a deal that included only 30 hours of community service, an apology to the officer, and payment to the city for cleaning up the graffiti. Clearly, this is not a punishment that fits the crime.
This preferential treatment is a slap in the face to the American people, who expect justice to be served to all, regardless of political connections. It’s a travesty that Riley was given a slap on the wrist despite the severity of their crimes.
This isn’t the only example of political corruption in the justice system. It’s become increasingly common for liberal politicians to excuse the heinous and illegal actions of their children and associates. In this case, Rep. Clark has shown that she’s willing to look the other way when her child breaks the law.
Not only is this a dangerous precedent to set, it’s a sign that there are two sets of justice in this country: one for the privileged and one for the rest of us. It’s time for liberals to stand up and demand that all citizens be treated equally under the law, regardless of their political connections.

It’s also concerning that Rep. Clark publicly recognized her child’s gender identity in a tweet on International Non-Binary People’s Day, yet she has remained silent on the matter of her child’s criminal activities. This suggests that she is more concerned with promoting her own agenda than with holding her child accountable for their actions.
This is an unacceptable state of affairs, and it’s time for Congress to take action. We need to ensure that everyone is held to the same standards in the justice system and that no one is given special treatment due to their political connections. Until that happens, the American people will continue to suffer from a broken justice system.
