The polling isn’t looking good for the corrupt governor of Michigan. Her seat is up for grabs against Republican James Craig, who currently leads Whitmer by six points. This election has national implications. Republicans have been unsuccessful in passing voter integrity laws because Whitmer can veto the legislation, but if Craig wins, he will sign the bills and late-night drops of votes will become much tougher.
The first thing they need to pass is a law that requires all vote-counting places to allow observers who can challenge ballots and any center that does not allow observers will have their ballots disqualified. This country cannot afford a presidential election in 2024 like the one we had in 2020. Our country cannot survive unless we have free and open elections. Places like Detroit, Fulton County, and Philadelphia all counts in basic secrecy with no supervision.
The survey asked:
“If Gretchen Whitmer and James Craig were the candidates for Governor in the 2022 general election, for whom would you vote?”
Craig won 50.4 percent to 44.4 percent.

Democrats comprise a greater portion of the respondents — 53.4 percent. Republicans make up 35 percent of respondents, and independents comprise 11.6 percent. That means Craig is ahead by six even though many more Democrats were polled compared to Republicans. 18.4% to be precise. That being the case, Craig could be much farther ahead than just 6 points. Whitmer’s draconian shut downs and her attacks on businesses has not been very popular.

The polls, both conducted by the firm Strategic National whose CEO John Yob is advising the Craig campaign, seem to indicate Craig is in the driver’s seat heading into next year’s governor’s race in both the primary and the general election. They also signal support for Craig surged after his campaign announcement earlier this month, when leftist agitators attempted to interrupt the event, forcing the former police chief to move locations to get away from the disrupters mid-event.
“Chief Craig has built a massive lead in primary polling as we head into the critical Mackinac Island Straw Poll this weekend,” Yob told Breitbart News. “The General Election is now tied as the violent actions of the leftist radicals pulled the Chief even with Governor Whitmer. The Chief has significant room to grow against Whitmer as his name identification improves among the 35% of voters who do not yet know of him.”
