Democratic state attorneys general in Nevada, Arizona, and Michigan have brought charges against alternate electors affiliated with the Trump 2020 campaign.
Last month, Arizona’s Democratic Attorney General Kris Mayes pursued charges against Trump attorneys Christina Bobb, Jenna Ellis, Rudy Giuliani, and John Eastman.
They were indicted by an Arizona grand jury.
In July, Michigan’s Democratic Attorney General Dana Nessel criminally charged 16 ‘Trump electors’ involved in the state’s 2020 election.
Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis previously indicted three of Trump’s alternate electors in Georgia as part of her RICO and conspiracy case against Trump.
When Democrats appoint alternate electors, it is referred to as ‘dueling electors.’
When Republicans do the same, it is labeled as ‘fake electors,’ and they face indictments from Democratic attorneys general.
