OutKick host Craig Carton says Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is “a lousy person,” after Rodgers made comments about two ex-girlfriends during a podcast appearance with Steelers teammate Cam Heyward.

Rodgers, on the Cam Heyward Podcast, said his former fiancee, actress Shailene Woodley, told him she needed to “go f–k this guy” just days after agreeing to marry him. Carton says Woodley hasn’t spoken publicly about Rodgers in nearly two years, and questioned why Rodgers would bring the claim up now.

“Mr. Narcissist himself, Aaron Rodgers, went on the Cam Heyward Podcast, and decided that this was the right platform to embarrass himself,” Carton said.

“Just because Aaron Rodgers said it, doesn’t mean it’s true. The more he protests all the accusations against him, and the criticism of him, the more I gathered the fact that he’s a weird guy, a high maintenance guy, an absolute narcissist, and a guy that women should stay thousands of yards away from.”

Rodgers also discussed former NASCAR driver Danica Patrick, claiming she was depressed after retiring from racing and saying he refused to let her help pay for his Malibu house because he didn’t think the relationship was headed anywhere.

“What joy do you get out of embarrassing Danica Patrick publicly? What joy do you get out of embarrassing Shailene Woodley publicly,” Carton said. “It’s always about you, isn’t it, Aaron?”

Carton also said Rodgers, without naming them directly, took aim at former Green Bay Packers teammates Greg Jennings and Jermichael Finley during the same appearance.

Carton acknowledged Rodgers’ on-field résumé will likely land him in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, but argued that record doesn’t excuse how he treats people.

“As great as Aaron Rodgers was…he’s a lousy person,” Carton said. “And when it all comes down in the wash, would you rather be a great football player or a great person?”
