CNN Loses it When Trump’s People Pull a Prank on Them in Florida

It’s undoubtedly been a rough year for CNN.  With just a few tweets from President Trump, the “Clinton News Network” has seen its reputation dragged through the mud.  Now, they’re panicking because a moving van thwarted their presidential “reconnaissance”.

Wait, what happened?

CNN had set up shop outside to cover the president’s golf game in Florida.  That’s when the president’s people came up with a plan.

Dan Merica told CNN anchor Don Lemon:

You know, our job down here is to cover the president, to tell our viewers what he is doing on a daily basis.

Over the last few days, we’ve got video of the president golfing at his nearby golf club here in West Palm Beach.

There is a break in the hedges, really. The president doesn’t really and his staff doesn’t tell us when he is golfing. And we have taken to going outside the golf course and filming him as he golfs through the break in hedges near the club.

Today, a big white box truck parked in front trying to obscure our shot of President Trump golfing.

Now it may seem trivial, but it is important to give video as the president does these things on a daily basis. And goes to something that is larger, the president and the White House have tried to obscure the fact that President Trump golfs on a regular basis.

Throughout the exchange, you see Merica slowly getting angrier and angrier.

So let’s state the obvious.  Yes, this is trivial.  That’s the president’s golf course.  He has every right to put a moving van in front of the hedges to keep prying eyes away.  Liberals and conservatives would both agree that every human has a right to a little privacy.

Next, how sad is this?  They’re essentially stalking Trump for no apparent reason and get upset when he nonverbally tells them to get lost.  Of course, it goes right to “OH MY GOD.  He must be hiding something.  He doesn’t want us to see how much he plays golf!”

Here’s what he’s “hiding”.  A strong stock market, ISIS on the run, and a tax reform bill that will help millions of Americans.

Keep dreaming, CNN.
