Chicago Has Officially Been Declared a ‘Trump-Free Zone’
Another serious problem has hit the city of Chicago.
As Chicago remains one of the top violent cities in the United States, it is called the nation’s murder capital per-capita basis.
Reports also identify that their education system is the third-largest in the US and is completely BROKE.
Despite such pressing issues within the city alone, the Mayor feels the city will be better off if he continues to focus on keeping the “sanctuary city status” safe.
Including threatening the President and suing the Trump Administration.
According to IJR:
The city of Chicago is now a “Trump-free zone” — whatever that means.
Mayor Rahm Emanuel made the declaration on Tuesday following Trump’s controversial decision to end the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, better known as DACA, which shielded immigrants under the age of 18 who were brought to the country illegally from deportation.
“To all the Dreamers that are here in this room, and in the city, you are welcomed in the city of Chicago,” Emmanuel told students on the first day of school. “This is your home and you have nothing to worry about.”
He then addressed President Trump directly:
“Chicago, our schools, our neighborhoods, our city, as it relates to what President Trump said, will be a Trump-free zone. You have nothing to worry about.”

While the mayor has zero authority to keep the president out of the city, it seems he is suggesting that he would not cooperate with federal authorities if the Trump administration attempted to enforce DACA-related immigration laws when the program ends in six months.
Chicago is one of several so-called “sanctuary cities” across the United States that refuse to cooperate with federal immigration officials.
